The Prime Minister of Australia, the Honourable Kevin Rudd, MP, moved a motion in the Federal Parliament on Wednesday, 13 February, offering an apology to Australia’s Indigenous people.

5 Australian Bands took part in the Kremlin Zoria Military Tattoo
Five pipe and drum bands from Australia took part in the Kremlin Zoria 2007. This outstanding cultural event is Russia's first International Military Festival, it was held in Moscow's historic Red Square, by the ancient Kremlin walls, on 13-16 September 2007, before an audience of 8,000 every night.
The Russian word "zoria" means an old military signal, either reveille in the morning or tattoo at night, played by the drums, bugles or brass bands.
Participants of the First Kremlin Zoria included distinguished performers from Russia, Great Britain, Germany, Italy, Denmark, Canada, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand.
