TEMPORARY VISA APPLICATIONS WHICH MUST BE LODGED IN AUSTRALIA
Applications for the types of visas listed below must be lodged in Australia. Any applications lodged at the Australian Embassy, Moscow, will be invalid and will be returned to applicants or agents.
Payment of visa application charges (fees) for these visas can be made by credit card (American Express, Mastercard, Visa, Diners Club, JCB or Bankcard), bank cheque drawn on a bank with representation in Australia or international money order. Payment cannot be made at the Australian Embassy, Moscow.

1. Entertainment visas – subclass 420
Applications for entertainment (subclass 420) visa can ONLY be lodged at the DIAC Parramatta or Sydney City offices. You can send applications by fax, post or courier to:

2. Professional Development Visa (subclass 470)
The Professional Development Visa enables professional and managerial level employees from approved overseas organisations to attend tailored professional development courses in Australia with the sponsorship of their onshore training provider.
Visa applications MUST be lodged by the approved professional development sponsor in Australia to the Hobart Professional Development Visa Processing Centre, by courier, facsimile or mail:

3. Sponsored Business (Long Stay) Visa (subclass 457)
A person who wishes to enter Australia for a stay of over 3 months for the purposes of business activities needs to apply for a Business (Long Stay) Visa.
applications must be lodged in Australia or via the Internet in any case where there is an “Australian link” - for example, if the applicant has an Australian employer through an Australian Business sponsorship, a Labour Agreement, Regional Headquarters Agreement, or Invest Australia Supported Skills Agreement. Please communicate directly with your sponsor about where to lodge your application.

4. Medical Practitioner Visa (subclass 422)
The Medical Practitioner (subclass 422) visa is intended to facilitate the entry of temporary resident doctors to areas of workforce shortage, mainly in regional Australia Temporary resident doctors must by sponsored by Australian employers.
All visa applications must be lodged at the DIAC office in Australia where the sponsorship (form 55) was or will be lodged. Please communicate directly with your sponsor about the place to lodge your application.

5. Sponsored Business (Short Stay) Visa (subclass 459)
This visa allows a business person who has an approved sponsor in Australia, to make a short business visit to Australia for up to three months. Business activities may include a conference, negotiation or exploratory business visit, but do not include acting, musical performances or commercial film making.
Applications for these visas MUST be made in a DIAC Business Centre in Australia, in the same centre as where your sponsor applied for sponsorship. Please communicate directly with your sponsor about the place to lodge your application.

6. Special Program Visa (subclass 416)
Applications for Special Program Visas (subclass 416) MUST be lodged at the Hobart Special Program Processing Centre.
